Reef 2 Beach Surf School.

Surf School Lessons.

One hour Surf Schools are held every day, weather permitting, on the town beach at Agnes Water. They are conducted by fully qualified Surfing Queensland State Registered Surf Coaches and bronze medallion holders. This is a very safe beach for learning and we will endeavour to get you on your feet in the allotted time.

Equipment.

Demonstrating the correct stance.

Light-weight soft-topped boards to eliminate the risk of injury are the only boards used, as they provide the best possible outcome to your surfing lesson. These are the boards used by all reputable surf schools Australia wide. They are wide for balance and light for ease of use by persons of all ages and sizes.

Cost.

We have the cheapest lessons on the East Coast of Australia and this is the most northern consistent surfing beach before the Great Barrier Reef cuts off the swell. So this is either your first chance, or your last chance, to gain some new skills in an exciting sport.

Board Hire.

Agnes Water Board Hire has everything you are going to need for an incredible day in our warm water, on our 6 km of sand. This is a magic bit of Oz.

Surf boards and body boards may be hired cheaply after your lesson to improve your skills and to just have fun.

Hire of boards is open to anyone after lessons have been conducted. We have both long and short boards, all soft topped for safety. No fibreglass boards are hired out.
